Order Process

  • Step 1

    We connect via email over the details of your order.

  • Step 2

    I send you a quote for approval. Once approved, I send you an invoice for a 50% non-refundable deposit.

  • Step 3

    You send me your text, guest list or envelope recipient list on a spreadsheet, in PDF form, by the time the materials arrive for me to begin.

  • Step 4

    Unless you have a rush order and need a faster turn around time, all orders may take up to 2 weeks to complete from the date I receive your paper stock or materials, or if I am providing them for you.

  • Step 5

    Once your order is complete, I will reach out to you directly to send an invoice for final payment, to include any shipping costs and additions and/or changes to your order.

  • Step 6

    We arrange for you to receive your custom calligraphy pieces!

ENGRAVING AND EMBOSSING

  • Engraving
    • Bed of Letters can etch glass surfaces to provide beautiful, permanent personalization on various items. Surfaces include glass wine and spirit bottles, candle jars, fragrance bottles and more. Hand-engraved calligraphy adds a personal touch to corporate gifts, wedding party gifts, brand activations and real estate congratulatory client gifts.

    • A high-speed drill and diamond-tipped burr is used for hand-engraved calligraphy, best for curved glass surfaces. All engravings can be filled with a splash of color to highlight the text.
  • Embossing
    • Bed of Letters offers embossing calligraphy that is best suited for wood or cardboard paper items. A heating tool is used in the process to melt and attach embossing powder to embossing ink, to create a permanent 3D effect.
    • Some projects include wedding party hangers, packaging personalization and more.
